Contributor guidelines
A helpful library starts with trust
Share carefully.
Teach clearly.
These guidelines explain what we accept, how review works and what permission you give when you contribute.
Version 1 · 11 October 2026
1. Keep the audience in mind
Our starting focus is Maharashtra State Board Standards 9 and 10, in English medium. We welcome subject notes, lesson plans, worksheets, practice questions, worked solutions and research relevant to school teaching and learning.
Identify the standard, subject, chapter or topic, and intended learner. Explain any syllabus alignment using the relevant textbook edition or an official source. Do not describe material as Board-approved unless you can substantiate that claim.
2. Make the resource usable
- Use a clear title, learning goal and concise introduction.
- Include checked answers or worked solutions for assessments, plus suggested marks or time where useful.
- Use legible text, meaningful headings and accessible tables. Supply editable text where possible, alongside any PDF.
- Credit the sources of quotations, diagrams, images, questions and data.
- Tell us about AI assistance, check all generated claims and references, and take responsibility for the submitted work.
3. Be precise about research
Include the research question, method, context, findings, limitations, references and a plain-English summary. Declare coauthors, relevant interests, funding and whether the work is unpublished, a preprint, or previously published.
For previously published papers, provide the original publication link or DOI and confirm what may be republished. If republication is not permitted, propose an original summary with a link to the authorised source.
4. Submit only material you may share
- Submit your original work or material for which you have the necessary permissions.
- Get every coauthor’s agreement and provide the correct author names.
- Do not upload scanned commercial textbooks, copied paid question banks, leaked papers or third-party images without permission.
- For official textbooks or other external resources, supply the authorised source link and accurate attribution.
- Do not include identifiable student information, marksheets, student photographs, private contact details or sensitive participant data. Use anonymised examples.
5. Permission and author credit
You retain ownership of your work. By submitting, you give AbhyasBasket non-exclusive permission to review it and, if accepted, display and distribute the approved resource free of charge on this site with your author credit. If a downloadable file will be published, we will agree that with you.
We may correct formatting, spelling and broken links. Substantial changes require your agreement. You may publish your own work elsewhere. Paid reuse, sale, or inclusion in a premium product requires a separate agreement.
Your chosen public name and approved bio may appear with accepted resources. Your contact email is for correspondence and is not included in the public author credit. We will not imply that your institution endorses AbhyasBasket.
Readers may access published resources free of charge. Any wider reuse follows the licence stated on the resource; free access alone does not grant permission to redistribute or sell it.
6. What happens after you submit
- Initial check: we check relevance, completeness, links and permission information.
- Editorial review: we check clarity, attribution and suitability. Questions, answer keys and subject explanations require an appropriate subject reviewer before publication.
- Changes if needed: we may contact you to correct, clarify or supply missing information.
- Publication decision: accepted work is published with its actual author, resource type, date and review information. We may decline a submission.
Submission does not guarantee publication or a particular review time. Resources are never published automatically. Editorial checking is distinct from independent academic peer review.
7. Voluntary participation
This launch programme is free to submit to and free to read. It does not pay contributors and does not promise income, certificates, qualifications or a fixed audience. Any future commercial collaboration will need a separate agreement.
8. Corrections, removal and contact
For a correction, rights concern or removal request, use our contact form and include the resource URL, author name and the change requested. We will review the request and may hide a resource while resolving a concern. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
We use submission details to review your resource and communicate with you. Share only the details needed for this purpose. Our privacy policy explains the store’s wider handling of personal information. Do not submit passwords or confidential records.
